How can I create a Session?

The Health Professional is the only one, as a specialist, that can create Sessions, a sequence of selected exercises and activities in quantity, order, and level of difficulty to suit the needs of each Beneficiary individually.

Through the Eligence platform, the Professional, knowing the needs of elderly people or the personalized needs of a Beneficiary, can create:

  • A Session Template, which is visible to all Health Professionals in the Organization
  • Personalized Session, which will be designed solely based on a Beneficiary’s needs and will only be displayed in the Beneficiary’s information.

We begin by creating a Session Template. You select the Session Templates field from the side menu.

And then the Add Session field at the top right.

The tabs that appear in order are:

1. Session Information. Enter the name of the Session you are creating. The title will help you either for future use and another beneficiary, or as a reference for the reason for creating it e.g., Session for Memory Enhancement.

2. Exercises. Select the exercises you want to include in the Session by clicking on the field with a cross to the right of the exercise name. Clicking on the exercises you selected will generate a list of the selected exercises on the right. In this list you can select the order you want by simply dragging and dropping the exercise field in the list on the right, as well as the difficulty level for each of the exercises individually, by simply clicking on the corresponding star to the right of the exercise name.

By clicking on the x field, you can remove an exercise from the list.

To create the list, by clicking on the arrow on the left, under the heading Add exercises you can see the exercises either all of them or by the cognitive skill they practice.

After completing the order of exercises, you click on the Continue box at the bottom of the page, on the right, and Confirm or Cancel in case you want to make a change.

3. Notes. In the first field Health Professional Information you can fill in notes that are only visible to the Health Professional, and in the Beneficiary Information field you can fill in a message that you want to be visible to the Beneficiary.

After completing the notes, click on the Continue field in the bottom right.

4. Completion. In this tab you have a complete overview of the session in terms of the exercises you have selected, the order of appearance, the difficulty level per exercise and the necessary notes. Click Submit and the Session is ready.

The next step is to Assign a Session to a Beneficiary.

Entering the application to create a Session can also be done by selecting Beneficiaries from the menu on the left.

You then select the line with the Beneficiary you are interested in, click on their name and the menu that appears, select the Sessions field and then Assign New Session field.

At this point, you can choose to Assign a Session from a Template or Create a New Session.

If you want to assign a session from a Template, click on the corresponding From Template field and in the tab that appears, select the title of the session you want.

If you want to create a New Session, select the Create New field, and follow all the steps described above to create a session.

The only difference is that on the last tab you will have an additional option, which is Save as Template.
