Text-to-Speech technology is a significant achievement in the technology field, allowing users to listen to written text instead of reading it. The use of this technology enhances the experience of Beneficiaries, offering multiple benefits such as improved accessibility, reduced cognitive fatigue, easier understanding of instructions, independence and autonomy, and increased engagement.
To support all the above, we are integrating Text-to-Speech technology into all the games on the Eligence platform, starting with the game descriptions. Now, a Beneficiary has the option to listen to the description, making it easier to understand the content and objectives of each game.
In addition to the game descriptions, we have incorporated Text-to-Speech technology in three games regarding their content. In the games Matching, Words of Wisdom and Celebrities, the Beneficiary can listen not only to the description but also to all phrases or possible answers within the game.
The only action required is to click on the speaker icon wherever it appears.
