
Activity Description
A game of tactics and strategy. Your goal is to place the white pieces in a row to form vertical, horizontal, and diagonal sequences of four or more pieces. Carefully observe your opponent’s moves, and the game is yours.
Targeted cognitive skills
- Planning: The mental process that allows us to choose the necessary actions to reach a goal, decide the right order, assign each task to the proper cognitive resources, and establish a plan of action.
- Cognitive flexibility: Refers to the ability to switch between thinking about two different concepts or to think about multiple concepts simultaneously.
- Spatial representation: The process of defining and organizing spatial properties, such as the position, shape, and size of objects.
- Relation between elements in space /spatial ability: The skill required to orient or perceive one’s body in space or to detect or reason about relationships within or between objects in space.
